Who I am and How I work
Life is a beautiful, messy, and complicated process. Through the midst of this process we lose connection to who we are and what makes us feel alive and whole. To me, therapy is a process of returning back ourselves. To identify what we need, engage in actions that meet those needs, and shed what is no longer serving us.
My approach to therapy starts with our relationship, so you can feel safe and entrust this process with the most vulnerable parts of yourself. Through this entrusted relationship we can navigate the uncomfortable and messy parts of yourself and experiences that are blocking you from engaging in a meaningful life. Sometimes this looks like working through traumatic experiences that have been stored in your memories and not fully processed. Sometimes this looks like learning and practicing new skills to establish boundaries, assert your needs, manage stressors, or difficult emotions.
I believe that all humans deserve to experience a life and live a life that is in alignment with them. It would be my sincerest honor to support you in this journey of returning to YOU.
